Pancreatic Cancer (Silent Killer)

Right now Congress is debating how much funding should go to cancer research. We can make a big difference by telling Congress to remember our stories when they're determining how much funding the National Cancer Institute (NCI) will receive. The NCI is the country’s single largest funding source for pancreatic cancer research.

All we have to do is contact Congress to send a simple yet powerful message.

Pancreatic Cancer, Know it, Fight it and End it.

We can tell our Representatives that we do not know enough about pancreatic cancer, how to prevent it, or how to diagnose it early enough to give people a better chance of survival. More research will help us to know how this cancer works, which will help us develop the ammunition to fight it--and eventually, to end it with better, more effective treatments.

Congress won’t do the right thing unless we tell them. It’s time to tell them to know it, fight it and end it.

You can make a big difference with just the click of a mouse. Just click on the
“Send a Message to Congress” button above to send a pre-written message to your U.S. Senators and Representative. You will have a chance to review the message and to add your own story so your elected officials can begin to understand the profoundly personal effect pancreatic cancer has had on the people they represent in their districts.

We need as many people as possible to join together and share this message with those who have the power to fund this fight in a big way.

With all of us standing together, we can get the funding we need to end pancreatic cancer.
